The two occupants of an outboard powered inflatable dinghy ran aground a mud bank on a falling tide, at midday, upstream of Combwich in the River Parrett.

Local Auxiliary Coastguards investigated and deduced that the pair were adequately equipped with food, water and spare clothing, and hence not in immediate danger.
