Tenby RNLI lifeboat rescues vessel with engine failure

Tenby RNLI lifeboat crew assist crew of disabled fishing vessel (Credit RNLI/Tenby)Tenby all-weather lifeboat offering a tow to a disabled fishing vessel (Credit RNLI/Tenby)Tenby RNLI all-weather lifeboat was launched at 7.20pm on Wednesday (28 October), after Milford Haven Coastguard received a call from a disabled fishing vessel. The boat had suffered engine failure six miles east south east of Tenby.

The volunteer RNLI crew found the vessel at anchor and towed it to its mooring at Saundersfoot. The crew were taken back to Tenby RNLI Lifeboat Station by lifeboat and assisted by the Tenby coastguard rescue team.
