Skycar demonstatration flights

Skycar-061109 cruise

Moller International has scheduled a press flight of the M400 Skycar for October 11, 2011 at Lake Minden, 20 miles north of the Sacramento, California airport. The lake is privately owned and with excellent security. Attendance will be by invitation only, with, of course, the stockholders of both Moller International and Freedom Motors invited to attend. It is also their intention to have the annual stockholders meetings near this date.

Moller International announces that their application for the M400 Skycar Experimental Airworthiness Certificate has been received and accepted by the FAA. This is the first step in obtaining the required permissions needed for the upcoming demonstrations of the aircraft as well as those that will follow. Once the Skycar is classified as an Experimental aircraft Moller International can more easily demonstrate the full range of the prototype’s capabilities with manned and untethered flights.
