Hawker Beechcraft Takes Order for First Pro Line 21-Equipped Hawker 800XPR
ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 29, 2012) – Hawker Beechcraft today announced that Nordic charter and management company JoinJet has placed an order at the 2012 National Business Aviation Association’s annual convention in Orlando for the first Pro Line 21-equipped Hawker 800XPR. This latest Hawker 800XPR will be the second in JoinJet’s fleet. The company also has on order a Hawker 4000 and a Hawker 400XPR.
Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support Taking Orders for King Air 200/300 Series Pro Line 21 Synthetic Vision Upgrade
ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 29, 2012) – Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) today announced that it is accepting orders for the Synthetic Vision System (SVS) upgrade for all Pro Line 21-equipped Beechcraft King Air 200/300 series aircraft. The upgrade for this platform is scheduled for entry into service in March 2013. Hawker Beechcraft and Rockwell Collins entered into an agreement last year that will provide all Hawker and Beechcraft models with the upgrade package, which offers significant safety and capability improvements by adding synthetic vision data to existing Pro Line 21 displays. Follow-on certifications for the remainder of the platforms are expected to occur throughout 2013.

X-ray data from XMM-Newton’s EPIC camera are shown in blue, while optical images were acquired using the Michigan Curtis Schmidt Telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO) and presented in red (H-alpha) and green (OIII).
The bubble, known as S 308, is about 60 light-years across and is located 5000 light-years away in the constellation of Canis Major.
