New Phishing Campaign Impersonates Secure Messages from Banks- Secretly Delivers Malware

It has been reported that Cybercriminals are using a new phishing campaign that impersonates “secure messages” from private financial institutions such as Bank of America and TD Commercial banking to deliver malware to unsuspecting victims, security researchers have found. The spoof emails claim to be secure messages from a legitimate banking institution and instruct the user to either download an attached document, reply to the sender or follow a set of instructions. They also use legitimate-looking bank domains, the institution’s logo and even a confidentiality statement at the bottom of the email to trick the user into believing these are secure message from their bank

Celebrities from the worlds of sport, music and food took part in the Jaguar Land Rover Wheelchair Rugby Exhibition Match, as part of the 2017 Invictus Games event in Toronto, Canada.

Stars including British singer Laura Wright and Canadian Hockey player Mike Johnson were joined on the pitch by professional wheelchair rugby players competing in the Games for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.

The Exhibition Match celebrates Jaguar Land Rover’s support of Invictus Games Toronto 2017 competitors and their friends and family. The event is a friendly game that showcases the abilities of wheelchair rugby exhibition match players against some of their favourite celebrities. Both celebrity teams were provided with pre-match training led by professional wheelchair rugby coaches.

Tessa Bonhomme – Sports Broadcaster

Noah Galloway – US Army Veteran, Television Personality and Author
