Joining Milan Bergamo Airport’s airline roll call last April, Ukraine International Airlines launched its third service almost a year to the day since its inaugural flight to the Italian gateway. Adding a twice-weekly link to Kharkiv on 27 April, the Ukrainian flag carrier’s latest operation was welcomed the same day the airline’s seasonal service to Chernivtsi restarted.

April 29, 2018 – Pdrtoroz, Slovenia – It has been a weekend of light sea breeze in the bay of Piran and Portoroz, but still the Melges 24 fleet, composed for this occasion of twenty-five boats from eleven countries, managed to complete a whole series of scheduled nine races for the second event of the 2018 Melges 24 European Sailing Series.

A Finnish water sports professional attempts a world record powered by solar energy
Erkka Lehtonen, a Finnish wakeboarding professional, aims for a 12-hour continuous performance in wakeboarding. The attempt will take place in water sports centre Laguuni. Laguuni’s cable wakeboarding track is powered by a solar electricity system with 20 solar panels, provided by the Finnish clean-energy company Fortum.

April 28, 2018 – Portoroz, Slovenia – Second day of light breeze on the bay of Portoroz, where the Melges 24 Fleet is competing for the second act of the 2018 Melges 24 European Sailing Series. Despite the AP flag hoisted early in the morning in Yacht Club Marina Portoroz clubhouse, the Race Committee presided by Bojan Gale still managed to benefit at the best from the sea breeze that filled in around midday, adding three more races to the series and making the discard of the worst result of the series come into play.
