At 19:59hrs on Thursday 29 August 2019 UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses ILB to the report of 27 ft yacht aground near to the entrance to Holy Island harbour.

MISSING 14yr old PADDLE BOARDER AT BEADNELL BAY AND LIFEBOAT FETE UPDATE

Seahouses RNLI Lifeboat Crews had just come ashore after giving a lifeboat display to the public on their annual fund raising Fete day on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August 2019, when they were paged again at 15:10hr by UK Coastguard. This time it was for a 14yr old girl on a paddle board, who was reported missing at Beadnell Bay. It was 3am this morning when most of the crew had got to bed after their previous call to a yacht in distress the previous evening.
