FreeFire triumphs in IRC Overall
By RHKYC Media

19th Oct 1900hrs: Joachim Isler and Andrew Taylor’s Mills 41 Ambush was the final boat to sail into Nha Trang, Vietnam last night (18 Oct) at 22h 40m 42s (HK Time), putting her in 1st place for IRC Race 1 division. Sam Chan’s TP 52 FreeFire finished the rally in corrected elapsed time of 66h 22m 7s, all eyes had been on Ambush to see if she could wrestle the Overall prize from FreeFire but it was not to be. That was our quickest time ever to Nha Trang and a great result. When the numbers were crunched USA’s Bryon Ehrhart’s J/V Maxi 72, Lucky missed out on the daily double by 57 minutes and slotted into 2nd overall.

Formula Newsletter

Formula 430 SSC Featured in BoatTEST.com Enewsletter!

If you subscribe to BoatTEST.com’s enewsletters, you saw that the 430 SSC was featured in their Wednesday edition. The 430 SSC was truly the talk of the industry when this video was shot in 2017 – view video here! Its unique combination of a sprawling bowrider cockpit with multiple seating and entertainment zones, plus a spacious, contemporary cabin fully equipped with galley, head and sleeping for four, coupled with the optional quad Mercury 400 Racing outboards ensured the 430’s enviable position in the marine industry (trust us, check out the video). Although BoatTEST.com coaxed the 430 to 64.2 mph, Formula lists a top end of 59-62 mph, depending on conditions—either way, this boat is an impressive performer. The BoatTest.com video still rings true today, but you never know when a new twist might pop up.

Fuels of the future to decarbonize shipping

Fuels of the future to decarbonize shipping

Ammonia and hydrogen are promising potential fuels of the future in a decarbonized shipping industry, which has to switch to alternative, zero carbon fuels in order to meet the targets set out in the initial IMO strategy on reduction of GHG emissions from ships, an IMO symposium on sulphur 2020 and alternative fuels heard on Friday (18 October).

Moller International/Freedom Motors Oct 2019 Newsletter

MOLLER INTERNATIONAL

Moller International (MI) was delisted as anticipated in my last Newsletter. As President of MI, I apologize for being unable to raise the necessary capital to maintain MI as a public company. Raising capital for the development of a rotary engine proved to be easier than for a flying car (personal air vehicle or PAV). Consequently, the value of MI shares has continued to decline, while the value of Freedom Motors (FM) shares has remained stable. The number of MI shareholders who stated that they wanted to exchange their shares for FM shares was much larger than expected. This is very important for those who do exchange shares because as FM becomes a major shareholder in MI, exchangers will indirectly remain MI stockholders.

Boris Johnson’s ‘New Deal’ Delayed

Boris Johnson’s ‘New Deal’ Delayed

PLEASE DONATE HERE

Dear Friends and Supporters

I want to start by saying a huge thank-you to you, our supporters, for everything you do to support the work Get Britain Out is doing. 2 weeks ago, we asked you to join our postcard campaign and as it currently stands, more than 5,000 of you have downloaded our postcard and sent it to the Prime Minister asking him for a clean break from the European Union. This is fantastic and will have given Boris Johnson a lot to think about while he was negotiating with the other European Leaders. If you haven’t already sent one, the link is here.
