7th December 2019: Despite the strong wind warning, the show must go on. As a result of several top place changes yesterday, they must be given a chance to come back and correct their ways. The start was initially delayed while the North Easterly was above 30 knots and the call came out for all classes to start at 1105. The dinghy’s decided to race in the shelter, closer to shore but some still had to be rescued. It’s been some years since we had a windy King’s Cup and the conversation has revolved around when and even as far back as the start in Phi Phi island. Remember the picturesque Andaman Sea Races, with the rocky back drop and wind to boot? Check out the action in the AY Photo Gallery
